Those who choose the Automotive Engineering course after enrollment and wish to qualify for the second-class automobile mechanic examination will need to take subjects set by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism in addition to the credits required for graduation. Depending on the degree of credit acquisition, it may take more than three years to qualify for the second-class automobile mechanic examination.

To those who are aiming to obtain a teaching license
Due to the curriculum and timetable, it may not be possible to obtain all the credits required to obtain a teaching license by the time of graduation. For more information, please contact Admissions Center of our university before applying.

Application eligibility

Anyone who meets any of the following criteria:
(However, for international students, those who have passed the Japanese Language Proficiency Test N2 or above, or J.TEST Level C or above)

  1. Those who have graduated from a junior college or are scheduled to graduate in March 2024 (including correspondence courses)
  2. Those who have graduated from university or are scheduled to graduate in March 2024 (including correspondence courses)
  3. Those who have been enrolled in a university for 2 years or more and have earned 62 or more credits, or those who are expected to meet the same requirements by March 2024
  4. Those who have graduated from a technical college or are scheduled to graduate in March 2024
  5. Those who have completed a specialized course at a vocational school after 1976, or those who are expected to complete it by March 2024 (however, the requirement for completion is a minimum of two years of study and a total of 1,700 hours of class time).
  6. Those who have graduated from a school equivalent to a Japanese university or junior college overseas, or are scheduled to graduate in March 2024
  7. Those who have completed a specialized course at a high school or other institution (limited to those that meet the requirements of the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, including a course duration of two years or more) or are scheduled to complete such course by March 31, 2024.
  8. Others who are recognized by the university as having academic ability equal to or greater than the above.
